iCurry aka Akari Shiokawa

Shooting Akari has been a long long planned story. I can’t remember how it started but we have spent quite sometimes talking about a shoot together..

When it’s not me it’s Akari who is overseas and finally within a couple of hours we managed to get in sync and do a shoot.

I picked up a couple dress at my favorite bridal & formalwear hope, Enchante Bridal and Formalwear, with the help of my favorite in house stylists Louisa and Nicole.

The shoot happened at the Burbury Hotel.

I shot Akari exclusively in micro four thirds format using the Olympus OMD EM1 and the Panasonic GX8 with a selection of Zuiko lenses and the fast Leica DG Nocticron 42.5mm f/1.2 ASPH, which has become my favorite lens on this system.
