I remember that the coldest day in Canberra was a few days ago but, for some reason, today seems to be even colder.

Too cold to put a nose out to shoot anything.. then I though I’d just grab a quick shot around the neighborhood. These two captures are the only frames that I took with the Canon 5D Mark III and the Canon EF 135 f/2 L at maximum aperture in Av mode. Who said that landscape photography needs a small aperture?

I am also working on a personal project that I think would be interesting. I called it Landscape in Portrait. This project is about landscape photography taking with the camera exclusively in portrait mode. Watch this space to see more.

A quick edit to enhance the saturation white balance correction and here they are. The difference between these two frames are composition.. I moved myself from side to side to avoid too much bright empty sky in the background and not to include too much of the rooftops.
