Akari Part III

This is my last shoot with Akari Shiokawa before she flew out to Japan to pursue her modelling career.

You may have seen some of these images on my Instagram (@nomadphotography), some haven’t been published.

For this shoot, I used a medium format digital camera: Hasselblad H4D40 and a Sony a7r Mark II. Photographers, try to guess which images has been taken with which camera :o)

We played with different lighting setups using Profoto lights with Mola modifiers (Mola Beamm) and Profoto giant reflectors.

This team was such an awesome team to work with. Akari is awesome as always. Deejay finished the last bit of the garment the same morning at 5am. Team Lesley/Leslie replied to my last minute call and did a fantastic job for the shoot. This is truly a #dreamTEAM.

Special mention to a guest photographer and friend, Doug Coleman, who did a 4 hour drive all the way from New Castle,  to come have some fun with us.
